These Terms of Use apply to your use of toolchecked.com (the “site”), operated by Tool Checked Inc, Singapore (“Tool Checked”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Information only
The site provides general information to help businesses compare software and AI tools for salons, spas, barbershops, nail and lash studios. It is not professional, financial or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions, including which software you buy.
Prices and cost estimates
We check prices against sources and show a “last checked” date, but vendors can change their prices, fees and plans at any time.
- Prices and fees on the site may be out of date or incomplete.
- Results from our cost calculator are estimates, not quotes. Some figures may use a fallback rate marked “est.”.
- Always confirm current pricing and terms directly with the vendor before you sign up.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability or availability of the site or its content.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
The site links to vendor websites, and some of these are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you sign up through them. See our affiliate disclosure.
Vendor websites are operated by third parties with their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their content, products, services or how they handle your data. Any agreement you make with a vendor is between you and that vendor.
Submissions and reports
When you send us information, for example through Submit Software, Report Wrong Data or our contact form, you agree that:
- The information you send is accurate to the best of your knowledge and you have the right to share it.
- You won’t send anything unlawful, misleading, abusive or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- We may review, edit, verify, publish or decline to use any submission or report, at our discretion.
- You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the factual information you send to create and update listings on the site.
Sending a submission or report does not guarantee a listing, a correction or any particular score.
Intellectual property
The site’s content, including text, data compilations, scores, design, the Tool Checked name and the Tool Checked badge, belongs to Tool Checked Inc or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use and link to the site. You may not copy, scrape, republish or sell substantial parts of the content, or use the Tool Checked badge without our permission.
Vendor names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify their products.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tool Checked Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the site, its content or any vendor you choose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
